Year 6 Applications for secondary school places for September 2024: The portal is now closed for first round applications. Parents/Carers can still apply but their applications will be classed as ‘late’ by Essex County Council.
Parents/carers of Year 2 pupils: The portal for parents/carers to apply for Year 3 places for September 2024 is now open. You will need to do this if your child is transferring from infant to junior school (e.g. from Oakwood Infants to Alton Park Junior School). The deadline for such applications is 15th January 2024 – if an application is not made by then, parents/carers may not get a place at the school of their choice.
