A group of Year 6 children took part in a cross country competition yesterday where they showed excellent determination and dedication.
“I took a Year 6 team, consisting of 6 boys and 4 girls to cross country yesterday at Birch Hall, Kirby to complete against a number of other schools in the Clacton District Partnership. It was a very tricky course, not only because some of the children were experiencing a cross country competition for the first time but also because the conditions were very sticky due to the field being extremely muddy in parts. The children raced magnificently and did themselves proud, representing not only themselves but also the school. A huge well done!” – Mr Chappell
